Junior / Intermediate Workshops 2017

Friday 27th January 12.30 – 5pm

Saturday 28th January 3pm – 8.30pm

Coledale Community Centre

Below you will find some of the info, as I like to call it…the “Nuts and Bolts”. You can download the PDF here.

Please note, I will be away from the 4th January – 12th January so email would be

preferred.

What happens over the workshop/concert days?

27th January

12.40pm – 1.10pm Introduction, Games and Warm ups
1.10 pm – 2pm Rehearsal for Opening and Closing Numbers (Touch the Sky & Don’t Stop Believing)
2pm – Open Coaching
2.50pm BREAK
3pm – Open Coaching
4pm – BREAK
4.10 – 5pm – Rehearsal for Ensemble pieces.
5PM – 5.30PM – Discussion on attire, make-up and hair for the concert

28th January

1pm Jen’s Ensemble rehearsal (For Good & She’s In Love) 1.45pm – Warm ups
1.55pm – Rehearsal for Ensemble pieces
2.45pm – Open Coaching

3.30pm – Solo Rehearsals with Adam Vujic (students to have their break and food when not rehearsing along with getting changed and ready for the concert)
5.45pm – Pre-Concert Warm ups

6.15pm – CONCERT

What do you bring?

Enthusiasm!
Water
Music (a folder with your group item in it and for those doing solos, a printed copy of your solo item to be handed to Charmaine on arrival on the 27th)

NB: Snacks will be provided for you as will a light meal prior to the concert on the 28th. If

there are any dietary requirements, please let me know ASAP

WORKSHOP COST

The Cost for the 2 days is $50 (incl GST)

This fee can either be paid directly into the Studio account

OR to Charmaine on arrival at the workshop on the 27th January

ACCOMPANIST FEE $20

Those who are singing solos, you will be required to pay this fee for your

accompanist, Adam Vujic. This fee will include your rehearsal plus the

performance.

TICKETS $15 adult $10 child/pensioner

Please email me the with the number of tickets your require
Family names will be on a list at the door to the theatre
There will be NO printed tickets
Could all concert tickets & accompaniment fees please be finalised & paid for by 27th January (on arrival for workshop)

MUSIC FOR GROUP ITEMS

If anyone has missed the emails with music for the group item they are in, please

email me immediately and I will re-send.

We are looking forward to a wonderful couple of days with you. What you get out

of these two days is primarily dependant on what you put into it. We can give you

the tools, but you have to be willing to use them.
